Time to panic regarding Saliba!

Based on Mikel Arteta's comments this morning, you'd be within your rights to hit the panic button. It's nothing personal but the thought of Rob Holding at centre-back for the remainder of the campaign, particularly with that trip to City looming, scares the living sh*t out of me.

Speaking ahead of the visit of Southampton tomorrow night, the boss had this to say regarding the fitness of the 22-year-old French defender:

"Regarding William we still have to wait a bit more. He’s not progressing as quick as we hoped. It’s a bit delicate. We want to be sure when we push him."

And on whether or not he'll be out for the season - Arteta's message was hardly reassuring:

"I don’t know. It’s a bit early to (say). There is some evolution. He’s doing more activity but he’s not ready yet to throw him in to that pitch."

To make matters worse, Zinchenko could also miss out on Friday's fixture meaning we're likely to be without two of our four first choice defenders.

Feel free to panic for now & we'll discuss it all in depth on today's podcast!
